Got some trade in offers for a new 4Runner, most dealers were offering way way way below what I was expecting for the BRZ. Took it to a shop that specializes in buying/selling sports cars and they gave me very very close to kbb value.

Also, Toyota of Plano has a Voodoo Blue TRD Pro 4Runner. We made a handshake deal yesterday for a price I agreed with, but when I went in today to finalize everything they refused to honor it.

Ended up walking out and finding another voodoo blue 4Runner at a dealership an hour away and should be getting a better deal tomorrow.

Drive by the first dealership in your new 4Runner  and tell them you now think the color is “ coulda been you” blue!

I feel like I need to drive a Taco TRD Pro. I felt like I understood the truck thing after driving the Titan/Armada   until I drove a Colorado and then I felt like I didn’t understand the truck thing anymore. The Colorado felt like a minivan for people with only 1 friend.

I think it was because they know the TRD Pros are flying off the lot, especially in this color. They probably had someone else ready to buy it at their asking price, they didn’t even try to keep me in the store when I told them we would not be making a deal.

I keep seeing Voodoo blue 4R’s around town this week and they are stunning. Great choice of color.

My local dealer has three, including a Voodoo Blue one. I guess people just need to look in the middle of nowhere.

What made you choose the 4Runner over the Tacoma? The Tacoma has a lot more features, and you’ve also got a truck bed. Voodoo Blue is beautiful, though.

I take a lot of camping trips and having an SUV would be nicer than a truck bed to store cargo in when the weather is not ideal.

I also hate the new engine/trans in the Tacoma. I can’t put a pin on it, I just didn’t like it. I test drove the Trd Pro 4Runner and LOVED it.

That makes sense. My dad wanted a truck for the occasional dead tree run to vegetative waste. There are plenty of toppers from Leer, etc. for trucks, too. I looked at a Cavalry Blue Tacoma TRD Pro several months ago, and that thing was nice. I wish it had more for the money, but I’ll probably never have one haha.
